OK’s Academy was set up to offer vocational and academic training to students that are disengaged from the main curriculum within the school for a variety of reasons, whether it is for behavioral, emotional, social or learning difficulties. Though we also offer the same opportunities for students that are also excelling and on the Gifted and Talented register. At OK’s Academy we are committed to ensuring that talent is nurtured in a safe, orderly and stimulating state of the art learning environment.

 We believe that every child does matter and that by becoming fully involved in their learning, they will get the most out of their time with us and that their learning experiences will be both enjoyable and successful. We are immensely proud of the achievements of all our students and enjoy celebrating them both as an Academy and being part of the community. We work hard to listen and respond to our students and are delighted that they are loyal and proud of their achievements gained through the Academy.

 Becoming a student with OK’s Academy is about more than gaining a qualification or vocational skills. Your time with us here is about pushing the boundaries, thinking of a bigger and brighter future for yourself and exceeding your own experiences. OK’s Academy students will be taught by tutors with industry knowledge and backgrounds, so your experience with us will give you a head start when it comes to getting your dream job.

 OK’s Academy works to increase the number of young people going to positive destinations when they leave school: finding a job, moving on to further education, or getting into an apprenticeship or other training.
